It’s always wonderful at the Carl House! For this evening, the house was packed with great food, lively music provided by Wendy Bennett and myself. DJ Tod Peavy provided music later in the evening. There was even a Flash Mob that took everyone by surprise!

Happy Valentine’s Day – The Standard Club

February 14, 2012

What a view! The floor to ceiling windows brought in the nature without bringing in the cold…brr.  The beautiful Steinway was perfectly in tune and a joy to play on. Here I played mostly love songs with a mix of smooth jazz for the guests to enjoy. Table for two?

Weekend Valentine’s Dinner – Atlanta Athletic Club

Georgia Aquarium

February 6, 2012

Here I played for a corporate dinner for three and a half hours. I had a beautiful backdrop of sea life as I played show tunes, jazz and easy listening music. The ceiling lights slowly changed colors as if they changed the mood with the songs I played. It was a delight to play at this beautiful venue.

Country Wedding

January 28, 2012

There was just a slight breeze in the air as this couple tied the knot in family home. Small and quaint was the setting for this young couple. I played Canon in D as the flower girl and Bride came down to the wedding altar and for the recessional “Don’t Stop Believin’”. Prelude music included classical, Rascal Flatts, Steve Holy and Chris Tomlin.

Carl House – Wine Pairing Dinner

January 20, 2012

What a wonderful night, from the music to the food! Chef, Jim Deupree, winner of two Iron Chef contests delighted the taste buds while Wendy Bennett sang beautifully as I accompanied her and played some solo tunes. Guests enjoyed wine and dancing at the exquisite Carl House.

Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech – WIPA Launch Party

January 19, 2012

WIPA, Wedding Industry Professionals Association just launched their first meeting in GA today. It was held at the Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech. I played as wedding professionals came to network, have tea and delicious treats and to hear about the top wedding buzz from a great speaker, Rebecca Grinnals. The song list started with classically themed wedding music and then ended with jazzy tunes. Thank you to Lindsay Pitt from Toast Events for coordinating it all!
